protest in pakistan
“21 die and dozens get injure on ‘Yaum-i-Ishq-i-Rasool’ during fierce protests”.

Well on the other side what we all know is that, “Islam is a religion of Peace” and despite knowing this fact people indulged themselves into violent behavior during protests just to show “their love for our beloved Prophet (PBUH), who actually avoided violence in his preaching.

There is no doubt in the fact that Protest is the right of every citizen when they get themselves or their loved ones hurt by any other force. But to my knowledge, this thing doesn’t make any sense at all that people become violent and damage their own property and harm their other Muslim brothers while protesting against Non-Muslim countries and Non-Muslims. Is there any justification behind it? Is this a proper way to show your love to our Prophet (PBUH)? Is this going to harm those who actually are cause of protest??

There are various references from Quran and Hadith which tell us Muslims to be peaceful to each other and to spread peace among the world. Being Muslim we all know the fact that our beloved Prophet (PBUH) is the most loved person in the whole Universe for Allah and for all the Muslim Ummah.
So these violent Muslims are showing their love to our Prophet (PBUH) by harming their own properties, by indulging in violent behavior, and by bringing destruction to their own identity and to their own nation. Are they showing hate towards those who made movie or they are just showing grudge to each other? Can they justify their love?? Do they follow the Sunnah fully?? Do they offer five times prayers a day? Do they fill the Mosque at time of Fajar Prayer like they fill the road during a violent protest?? Who will answer these questions??
This is just a single side of the aspects about protests. As far my opinion concern I don’t oppose the protests but yes I do oppose the violent protests in which we harm our own property and nation. We should show our love for our beloved Prophet (PBUH) through constructive ways, by peaceful protests and above all by following the Sunnah of our Prophet (PBUH) fully and by implementing in our everyday life.
And last but not the least, there is a big role of media on how we form opinion about certain things. Just to know the facts about protests on ‘Yaum-i-Ishq-i-Rasool’, the media merely showed only those protests which turned violent and in which people harmed the properties, despite the fact that there were certain successful protests held in the country which went in a peaceful manner. Well that’s how things combine in our nation and create a chaos where opinion formation and our actions get affected.
Nevertheless violent protests were held on the day and caused damage to the nation. This is how I combined my thoughts about the event and the protests and their consequences. How you people think about the protests and the violent ones?? What should be the constructive ways to show our love??
