Pakistani Coconut halwa recipe

Ingredients:

  • Desiccated coconut ½ kg
  • Whole dried milk ½ kg
  • Sugar 1 kg
  • Green cardamons 12
  • Yellow food color as required.

Method:

  • Grind green cardamoms, Put sugar in 1 kg water to make syrup.
  • When dried milk is ready add ground green cardamoms.
  • Mix dried milk and coconut together.
  • Add to the syrup and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Grease tray and put halwa in it, level with spoon.
  • When cooled, cut into pieces and serve.
