Pakistani apple pie recipe



Maida (Flour) 2 cups
Oil 3/4 cup
Boiling Water 1/4 cup pinch of salt
Milk 2 table spoons
Apples 4 medium (peeled and cubed)
Sugar 7 table spoons
Cinnamon1 heaped table spoon
Maida 2 table spoons
Vinegar 1 table spoon


For crust:
Mix all the ingredients in the left column.
Make smooth dough. If the dough is crumbly, you can add some more water to make it smooth.Make two balls out of the dough and keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
In a bowl mix the right hand column ingredients.
Keep it covered for 45 minutes.Now take the dough out of the fridge and roll out in two separate sheets.
Grease a pan and spread a sheet on the bottom. Put the apple mixture over it. Now cover with the second sheet. Make slits in the upper sheet with a knife.
Rub some milk on the top sheet. Preheat oven for 25 min.
Now put the pie pan int he oven and bake at 400 degrees (Electric oven) for about 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
