Pakistani Chicken Paratha recipe
Ingredients:
Ingredients for dough:
- Whole wheat flour   1/2 kg
- Refined flour  1/2 kg
- Clarified butter  4 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Ingredients for chicken:
- Chicken Breast  1/2 kg
- Garlic paste  1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder  1 tbsp
- Barbecue masala  2 tbsp
- Oyster sauce  3 tbsp
- Lemon juice  3 tbsp
- White vinegar 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Butter a little
- Oil for frying + 2 tbsp
Method:
- Mix all dough ingredients and knead into dough.
- Mix all chicken ingredients except butter and including 2 tbsp oil in a bowl.
- Wrap chicken breasts in plastic and refrigerate for 2 hours and then steam them.
- Grease baking tray with butter and place chicken breasts; bake in pre-heated oven at 180 C for 10 minutes.
- Chop chicken breasts; flatten dough ball with hand; put chicken pieces in the centre of each; gather the ends to close them and roll like parathas.
- Heat griddle and fry parathas from both sides till golden
